What you wear will play a big part in the feel of your images

Be very aware of small stripes, they can give a very odd effect in photos. Also steer clear of large checks and bold prints.

If say mum has a floral print dress, then everyone else should wear solid colours that compliment these colours (but not colour matched). Big no no's are lots of black or bold logos. It's just not flattering in photos.

Textures is HUGE in photos, as an example - Dad with a plain shirt, mum in a flowy linen dress and babe in a knit = heaven.

If its Winter/Autumn don't forget your jackets, a denim jacket thrown over the shoulder can bring up an outfit so well. Also brimmed hats in summer is a total winner!

Complimentary colour palettes to mix match items of clothing;

Cream/White/Denim

Olive/Cream/Tan

Burgundy/brown/rust

Beige/Blue/rose

Examples below of aesthetically pleasing colour palettes in country settings, I have photographed in the past.

For expecting mum's I have a very small selection of dresses suitable for maternity sessions that are available to use.
